Our annual 5K run and 2.5K Walk are coming up quickly! The course starts and ends at the church, and participants will be running or walking the flat course past city parks, historic buildings, and the St. Louis River! The whole course is paved, and there will be markers and volunteers to direct you and hand out water on the way.There will be refreshments and food at the finish. Every participant gets a T-shirt!
We will also have a bake sale, silent auction, and a great raffle going on before, during, and after the race itself. Past auction and raffle prizes have included running gear, local business merchandise, penthouse stays at the Fitgers Hotel, restaurant gift cards, wine baskets, and handmade furniture!
The entry fee for the 5K and 2.5K Walk is $20 if you sign up before June 1st, or $25 on race day. We also offer a great grup Rate: four entries for the price of three!

For more than a decade, Bill Bastian and the HighlandQuartet have been joining us to celebrate the Holidays. Tenor Bill will be joined by Steve Highland and Laurie Bastian on violins, Ron Kari on the viola, and Betsy Husby on the cello. The group has been playing together for more than 25 years. They will be performing familiar Christmas songs at United Protestant Church in Morgan Park beginning at 1:30 pm this Sunday, December 15th. Please come enjoy this free concert and refreshments to follow. There will be a free will offering to support the costs of the event.
