Morgan Park Annual Walk/Run
 Join United Protestant Church and the Morgan Park community on June 2 starting at 4:30 pm for our annual 5k Run / 2.5k Walk. The course winds through historic Morgan Park and highlights the beauty and rich heritage of this storied community. A raffle, bake sale and silent auction will also be held during the event. All proceeds go to support the ministries of the United Protestant Church in Morgan Park.

Easter Week Events
 Join the West Duluth community for a joint Good Friday celebration being held at Asbury Methodist Church on Friday, March 29 at 7 pm. Pass on that bowl of cereal and come out instead for United Protestant Church's annual Easter Breakfast! The UPC Men's Club will be hosting this free, hot breakfast on Easter morning starting at 9 am.
Stick around after breakfast to commemorate the rising of our Lord Jesus from death some two-thousand years ago! The significance of the resurrection cannot be overstated, for "If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain…. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins." (1 Cor. 15:14, 17).

Halloween Carnival a Great Success!
 Fun and fear was had by all when hundreds of kids from across the region came out in costume to the 2012 Children's Halloween Carnival hosted by United Protestant Church in Morgan Park. Area youth munched down on haunted hotdogs, chilling chips and spooky sodas while playing games like skee-ball, cakewalk, beanbag toss, and more! Prizes and shrieks were the order of the night, particularly in the Spook House. See more photos on Facebook. |
