Dance Attic Concert at United Protestant Church July 17

DANCE ATTIC will be rockin' the Sanctuary with fun, happy music at United Protestant Church in Morgan Park on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.  Join us for an evening of great music with Suzi on the accordion and Jimi on the guitar..

Two Harbors Ukulele Group Concert June 13

Join us at United Protestant Church in Morgan Park on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. to enjoy a concert by THUG (also known as the Two Harbors Ukulele Group).  THUG, the BIGGEST ukulele orchestra from Lake County will share their JOY of playing a variety of music together!  There is no admission fee, but a good-will offering will be taken during the concert.  Refreshments will be served following the concert.  Please call the church (218-626-2570) for accessibility needs. The Fish Heads Concert Sept. 13

Join us at United Protestant Church on Wednesday, September 13, for the last concert of our summer music series!  The Fish Heads will be playing their great bluegrass, country and folk music in our sanctuary starting at 6:00 p.m.  There is no admission fee, but a good-will offering will be taken during the concert.  Refreshments served following the concert. The Singing Slovenes Concert

Join us at United Protestant Church on Wednesday, August 16 at 6:00 p.m. for a concert by the Singing Slovenes from Gary-New Duluth as they share the joy of their musical heritage. Christmas Concert by Bill Bastian and the Highland String Quartet

and the Highland String Quartet will be returning to the United Protestant
Church Sanctuary on Sunday, Dec. 18 for a wonderful Christmas Concert at 1:00
p.m. We have missed hosting this special community event the past two years due
to covid. There is no admission fee but a good-will offering will be taken
during the concert.  Concert goers are
invited to a gathering time after the concert in the Social Hall where warm
beverages and Christmas cookies will be served. 
There will also be containers of fresh Christmas cookies for sale.  We hope you can join us!  Proceeds from the concert will go to the Restore
United Protestant Church Fund.

Sunday School is Back!

United Protestant Church re-started a Sunday School program this fall. The main teachers are Mr. Bob Berg (retired teacher from Stowe) and Mrs. Collette Illy.  Sunday School meets from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. every Sunday and youth from age 4 to 10 years are invited to participate. Youth attend the Worship Service with their family for the first 15 minutes and after a “children's message” by the pastor, they go to the social hall for Sunday School. If you have a child who would like to attend, please call the church office (218-626-2570) to sign them up. Please fill out the Registration Form and send with them the first time they attend Sunday School. We hope lots of kids will join the fun!
